Feature of Nomos Minimatik Collection

Case

The Nomos Minimatik watch is crafted in a very thin profile in a 35.5 mm stainless steel case with just 8.9 mm of height. It is the thinnest automatic model of the brand. Exhibiting a contemporary design, every single part along the case is finely polished and brushed.

The robust case is fitted with a matching thin bezel and small lugs, to make the refined look more distinctive. To match with the sleek case profile, the size of the lug of the Nomos Minimatik watch is crafted to be 17mm that tapers towards the inward direction. The whole bezel and the lugs are also well polished just like the case.

However, when the Nomos Glashutte watch is flipped over you can encounter the name of the watch and the reference number mentioned on the circumference of the case. Also, the large display window provided at the case back will allow you to have a complete view of the movement ticking inside it. All in all, Nomos Minimatik watches’ case design shows a very subtle and sober look.

Dial

When it comes to the dial, there are mainly three dial variants available matching with different design elements. For example, the midnight blue dial versions are equipped with silver-white hands to make a contrasting modern look.

The dials of Nomos Minimatik watches are displayed in a flat top featuring a second display sub dial located at the six o'clock position. The even hour markers are embossed with round Arabic numerals while the odd hour markers are represented with small dots. Surrounding the hour indexes, there are minute markers in small dots as well. All these markers together with the hour and second hands are made with bright contrasting colors to reveal a modern look and at the same time to enhance the readability of the watch.

Straps and Wearability

The Nomos Minimatik watches are paired with natural leather straps. The standard models are equipped with the Nomos commonly used Horween Shell Cordovan leather while the Champagne dial variant is fitted with a vegetable tanned calf leather strap. These straps are all 17 mm in width with a tapered edged end that is rolled and folded. They come with the secure winged clasp as a buckle as well as a keeper.

Movement

As a high-quality Nomos timepiece. The slim Nomos Minimatik watch is powered by Nomo’s thinnest automatic movement DUW 3001 Calibre. The movement was first introduced together with the Minimatik model at Baselworld 2015. It actually took the company 3 years and millions of Euros for its development. This thinnest Nomos movement is only 3.2 mm thick yet performs extraordinary quality. Without any hairspring to escape mechanism inside the movement, it is able to deliver high precision and outstanding durability.

With the three classic variants, the Nomos Minimatik watch is an ideal everyday watch that can enhance the look of any outfit. Simple beauty, high precision, and optimum performance, this watch possesses everything that a quality luxury watch should have, at more moderate pricing.
