It took more than 5 years for the company to design this exceptional new watch. Although the octagonal design on an AP watch is widely known from its Royal Oak model, actually the original octagonal shaped AP watch debuted in 1917. The first AP octagon watch featured an octagonal case with a diamond paved bezel and bracelet. 

The lugs of the watch are also skeletonized which is also another feature that is not seen in other AP watches.

Aiming to represent the drive for innovation of the brand, the CODE 11.59 collection houses numerous models with different complications. 

Case

Starting from the case, the encompassed Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 watch is already a very complicated watch of the brand. The case is known as a three-layered case. An octagonal middle case is sandwiched by the top and back rounded cases. All the cases of the encompassed watches are in either white gold or rose gold. 

To match with the unique case, the brand also incorporated special design for the lugs. Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 watches feature skeletonized lugs that connect the ultra-thin bezel and the caseback. These Code 11.59 chronographs are powered by a self-winding Caliber AP 4401 movement. This 40-jewel movement is capable of guaranteeing an instantaneous date setting and it supports flyback feature.
