Bvlgari is a Italian luxury brand making its mark for not only premium watches but also exclusive jewelry, fragrances and leather goods. Even though the major part of manufacturing and designing is taken care of by the company itself, there are certain times when Bvlgari goes into collaboration with other prestigious entities. Currently, Bvlgari is a part of the LVMH Group and is focused on spreading excellence all across the world.
In 1884, Sotirios Voulgaris founded Bvlgari in Epirus, Greece. A silversmith by profession, he started making jewelry in his small store. Little did he know that his finery would make the brand what it is today and would expand its wings from jewelry to other craft items. When Sotirios passed away in 1932, Bvlgari’s ownership was handed over to his two sons. While curating new designs of ornaments, the two sons continued to push the boundaries; this led to the introduction of the well-known Serpenti bracelet watches in the 1940s. Presently, Octo, Diagono, BVLGARI BVLGARI and Haute Horlogerie are some of the highly sought-after watches of this brand.
